Our Permanent Makeup Training
At Cambridge Micropigmentation Centre, we specialise in offering micropigmentation treatment, but we are also happy to offer a number of other services to our clients, including permanent makeup. As part of our services, we offer permanent makeup training courses, suitable for beginners as well as current beauty practitioners. Read on to find out more about our beauty training academy in Cambridge.

The CMC Microblading Course for Beginners

During the CMC microblading course, you will benefit from three days of training that covers both the theory and practical side of microblading. The first day will be focussed on theory, when you will learn about the structure of the skin and all aspects of the microblading technique. This includes how much pressure to apply, colour theory, and carrying out consultations with your clients before the drawing stage, through to the procedure itself. We will also cover contraindications (cases where microblading isn’t possible) and health and safety procedures. By the second day, you will begin the practical element of the course, applying the microblading techniques to paper and fake skin, and you will see demonstrations of the treatment by your trainer. Finally, on the third day, you will not only practice the pre-drawing, but also perform the treatment using live models, with full support and supervision.

VIP One-on-One Course for Beginners

Although our CMC microblading course only contains groups of between three to four people, our VIP CMC microblading course for beginners is also available as a one-on-one exclusive. The course plan is the same, but you will benefit from the undivided attention of the trainer, as well as a completely free microblading treatment by our master trainer, Ania Paterak, along with the half price PMU (Permanent Makeup) and laser treatment offer, which those in the group course also benefit from. Both courses also include a full microblading kit, as well as lifetime support post-training, and business practices and marketing advice.

The CMC Full PMU Course for Beginners

If you would like to expand your skillset beyond permanent eyebrow treatments, we also offer the CMC full FMU course for beginners, covering six days in groups of up to two people. The first three days work in the same way as the microblading course, so by the fourth day, you are ready to progress onto permanent eyeliner treatments. On day five, we cover permanent lip treatments, and on the final day, three months after your training is complete, you will have an assessment day. You will benefit from many of the same features of the aforementioned course, but can choose which free PMU treatment you would like, and get a complete kit for carrying out all PMU treatments.

The CMC Advanced Masterclasses

If you have already completed beginner PMU courses, you may be ready to progress to our advanced masterclasses. We offer courses in Ombre brows, as well as a course specifically designed for microblading eyebrows for men, and a course covering advanced microblading techniques for different hair patterns, layering and shading. We also offer a course specialising in ‘Latina’ eyeliner, where you will learn to obtain the perfect flick. Each of these specialist advanced courses takes just one day to complete.

The Best Beauty Salon in Cambridge
Here at Cambridge Micropigmentation Centre, we specialise in micropigmentation, as well as a range of other aesthetic treatments, putting the same skills to use for permanent make-up treatments and microblading, as well as offering a variety of laser treatments. Moreover, we also offer training for any budding beauty technicians. Today we will go through our range of services that make us the best beauty salon in Cambridge.

Scalp Micropigmentation

We gain a lot of confidence about ourselves from our hair, so it can knock it when it starts to thin and dealing with baldness can be difficult. At Cambridge Micropigmentation Centre, we aim to restore your hairline, along with your confidence. Scalp micropigmentation treatment works like a kind of tattoo, either increasing the density of thinning hair, or offering the appearance of a shaved head.

Permanent Make-up and Microblading

We offer a number of make-up services to our clients, including permanent lip makeup. As part of this service, we offer the option for permanent lip contouring, permanent lip blush and permanent full lip colour, so there is sure to be something to suit you. We also provide a variety of eye treatments, including permanent eyeliner both to enhance your eyes subtly or add further definition with a thin to medium eyeliner. We can add definition to your eyebrows with eyebrow microblading, usually enhancing a feminine frame, but we are also able to treat those wanting a more masculine look, for those who may have thinning brows, looking for eyebrow reconstruction.

Laser Treatments

We believe we are the best beauty salon in Cambridge as we are able to offer our expertise in so many different modern beauty treatments, including a range of laser services. In fact, we are the only clinic in the whole of Cambridgeshire to offer Xlase advanced laser treatments, which work to offer permanent hair reduction. Suitable for all skin types, we also offer fractional laser resurfacing, which aims to target various skin issues such as facial lines and wrinkles, acne scarring, age spots, deep pigment, rough texture, redness, large pores and overall skin quality. Additionally, we provide CPL advanced treatments, which refers to Intense Calibrated Light, whereby different wavelengths target different skin complaints, including unwanted hair, acne, rosacea, thread veins, fine lines and wrinkles, and the visible signs of sun damage.

Training

We also offer training at our clinic, which can be completed one-on-one, or as a group. We have training courses that are suitable for both beginners and seasoned professionals. We provide training specifically for microblading alone, as well as comprehensive permanent make-up courses. Our more advanced masterclasses also include Ombre brows, advanced microblading, male eyebrows and eyeliner.

Permanent Lip Makeup
Here at Cambridge Micropigmentation Centre, we specialise in offering micropigmentation treatment, but we are also happy to offer a number of other services to our clients, including permanent lip makeup. As part of this service, we offer the option for permanent lip blush or permanent full lip colour, so there is sure to be something to suit you. Read on to find out more about each type of permanent lip enhancement, and say goodbye to smudged lipstick for good.

Permanent Lip Blush

Our permanent lip blush treatment is our most popular permanent lip treatment, due to the fact that it combines a defined lip line with a blend towards the body of the lips to produce a fullness from the moment you get out of bed each day to the moment you get back in, with no need for removal or smudged lipstick on your pillows. This treatment can be good if you are concerned that your lips are losing their shape due to age, or simply want to enhance your natural lips in a subtle but stunning way.  For just £350, you can benefit from this beauty treatment, which works as a kind of lip blush tattoo for clients in Cambridge.

Permanent Full Lip Colour

To take your permanent lipstick tattoo to another level, for just £45 you can increase your lip enhancement another notch with our permanent full lip colour treatment. This treatment helps to contour to lips (adding definition) as well as to colour the lips, instantly giving the lips a fuller appearance. The total cost of our permanent full lip colour treatment is £395, and when you think that it will last you a lifetime of not having to worry about applying your daily lipstick, with immaculate definition every day instead of risking smudged edges, our previous clients would say it is well worth the investment.

The Benefits of Fractional Laser Resurfacing
At Cambridge Micropigmentation Centre, we specialise in providing micropigmentation treatment, but we are also pleased to offer a number of other services to our customers, including fractional laser resurfacing. This treatment is a single treatment, which takes approximately an hour to complete, and is available to clients across the UK from our Cambridge clinic.

Fractional laser treatment uses a laser, which creates micro-thermal tunnels deep into the skin. This stimulates the body’s natural processes to rejuvenate the skin, with results coming to fruition gradually over three months after the treatment is carried out. The Erbium Yag laser is made to be able to carry out both deep and superficial skin resurfacing. Read on to find out more of the benefits of fractional laser resurfacing.

It Minimizes Imperfections

The use of this laser can help to heal imperfections in the skins such as sun damage, acne scars, and fine lines. The skin absorbes the wavelength of light emitted by the Erbium Yag laser, and its pulses vaporise lines, wrinkles, scars, dark spots and other irregularities. Layer by layer, it can be used to treat mildly atrophic facial scars, for example, left from bouts of acne or illnesses such as chicken pox. It can help with conditions such as dyschromias (alternation of skin pigment), melasma (specifically brown or grey patches on the skin), or lentigines (small brown patches, typically associated with age). Additionally, it can be used to treat mild-to-moderate facial wrinkles in the perioral, periocular, and cheek areas. By using longer and variable pulses, even the most stubborn scars and wrinkles may be treated.

Improves Skin Quality

Aside from any imperfections outlined above, it can also improve the overall quality of the skin. The main benefits that everyone can see from this treatment are an improvement of the skin texture and an evening of the skin tone.

Stimulates collagen

Everyone’s skin ages over time, no matter how much water you drink or how many toxins you avoid. For firmer and more youthful skin, this treatment is able to stimulate the body’s natural healing process, which allows for the production of new, healthy collagen in the deeper layers of the skin, replacing the columns of affected tissue. This process also stimulates the formation of new, underlying collagen, thus providing better elasticity and support for the skin.

It May Help Treat Skin Lesions

This specialise laser treatment is indicated for mildly photodamaged skin lesions. For example, with solar keratoses, scaly, dry patches of the skin may have formed due to sun damage. Whilst these lesions are not usually serious, it is worth noting that the laser can only treat pre-cancerous lesions, and it is important to be aware of the risks that these lesions could become cancerous.

There is Minimal Downtime

Lastly, one of the additional benefits of fractional laser resurfacing is the fact that the treatment is so fast and effective. It only takes one treatment session to complete, and there is virtually no downtime after that; you can simply go about your daily life and reap the rewards as the results continue to develop of the three-month period post-treatment. The skin’s recovery period is approximately between five days to a fortnight, so throughout this time it is vital that you follow a strict aftercare routine. This will help you to benefit from the best results possible.
