Mesotherapy

A French rejuvenation technique that uses micro injections of vitamins, enzymes, antioxidants, and plant extracts to rejuvenate and tighten skin, improve hair quality, as well as remove excess fat. Michel Pistor, a doctor in France, developed the technique in 1952. It combines a bespoke cocktail of powerful vitamins, which are injected into the lower layers of the skin using a meso device with one needle activating the production of collagen and elastin. Mesotherapy can instantly improve dull, tired looking skin and superficial wrinkles but can also help to improve sluggish blood circulation, aiding the body to flush out ageing toxins. This treatment can also be used to address hyperpigmentation, treat acne and ‘lit-from-within’ skin glow.

Mesotherapy vitamin cocktails  can stimulate the fibroblast cell in the skin to produce more collagen to combat the signs of ageing. Amongst the list of skin-friendly plant ingredients injected are vitamins, growth factors, Hyaluronic acid, peptides, antioxidants and trace elements that provide the ideal environment for healthy skin that copes with the ageing process better.   A typical mesotherapy cocktail might generally contain over active 50 ingredients to nourish, repair and rejuvenate skin.

Skin boosters

During the ageing process, collagenesis and elastogenesis are diminished and there is a reduction of elastic, density and resistance of the skin. Skin boosting treatments are a new concept that promotes a global improvement of the skin through a series of hyaluronic acid injections into the dermis. The objective of this approach is to increase skin hydration, delaying and reversing the ageing process and reducing ageing indicators. It can be used by clients of any age to help hydrate the skin and reduce the onset of ageing.

Profhilo - Profhilo is an injectable anti-ageing treatment made from hyaluronic acid for skin that is losing its elasticity and firmness with age. It can be used on the face, neck, decollete, arms, hands and knees, or any part of your body where the skin shows visible signs of ageing. There is an immediately noticeable improvement in skin tone, hydration as well as firmness, and lines are minimized.Profhilo differs from the usual fillers in a number of ways due to its structure which allows it to flow over an extended area to boost hydration and smooth or ‘remodel’ the skin.

Profhilo contains one of the highest concentrations of stabilised hyaluronic acid on the market. Because it is thermally bonded and not chemically bonded it acts as a hydrator not a filler. It is injected just underneath the surface of the skin where it disperses quickly and reacts with your own tissue to instantly boost hydration. Over the next four weeks phase two kick in as it goes to work boosting elastin and collagen production. This effectively remodels the skin and giving it a plumper, smoother and firmer appearance.

Due to its gel like consistency Profhilo distributes smoothly and evenly without the formation of any lumps – a potential risk with traditional fillers. This means it can be used on areas which are difficult to treat with traditional fillers, such as the neck and forehead.
Woman receiving Sunekos 200 injection

Sunekos 200 - SuneKos is an injectable treatment that’s entirely different to filler treatments as it uses a patented formula which combines amino acids (the essential building blocks of with hyaluronic acid. SuneKos regenerates the Extra Cellular Matrix (ECM) of your skin and deeply hydrates and plumps the treated tissue. This leads to ‘dermal biogenesis’ which results in a reduction in the severity of your wrinkles, hydration to both the superficial and deep layers of your skin, a desirable volumising effect and a dramatic boost to your elastin and collagen. This treatment is ideal for those who want to restore the naturally youthful look of your skin and improve signs of ageing or if you have loose, crepey, thin skin and/or a loss of volume around your eyes. It is also suited to help with lines, wrinkles, crepiness, volume-loss and laxity on your neck and face. SuneKos can significantly regenerate your ageing skin and restore a natural-looking, youthful appearance.

Hydra Facial

Also known as hydra-dermabrasion, it is a dermatological procedure which combines the infusion of medicinal products and crystal-free exfoliation (opposite to microdermabrasion). It is a custom water treatment that distributes moisture, peptides and serums to the epidermis and dermis layers to exfoliate and increase hydration. Antioxidants used in this procedure will hydrate and decrease inflammation within the skin, reverse photo damage, remove impurities from the pores and protect lipid membranes, collagen fibres and enzyme systems. Results can be seen immediately with this treatment.

A hydra-dermabrasion procedure is similar to a microdermabrasion treatment in the way that it can be used to treat multiple skin concerns. Microdermabrasion is often better suited to clients with deep scarring and skin damage. Whereas the hydra-dermabrasion offers more refreshed and glowing skin as it increases the blood flow. It is suitable for virtually any age and skin type and some of the benefits are:

Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a non-invasive procedure using a sterile scalpel to gently remove surface debris, dirt, oil, dead skin cells and peach fuzz. By removing superficial dead skin cells from the epidermis, the painless process stimulates the production of collagen revealing a new layer of smooth and lustrous skin. Collagen rich skin also improves tone and texture to help heal acne, scarring and discolouration. One treatment removes up to 3-weeks worth of dull, dead skin cells, leaving your face looking more youthful and radiant. Dermaplaning is an on-going treatment and most clients come on a regular monthly basis for treatments. It is a popular treatment for all skin types and has no downtime. It is a very good way to maintain a healthy glow to your skin and not have any reactive areas that need additional healing needs. It is often combined with a chemical peel or microneedling to give the client a better change in the outer layer of their skin if they have damage like acne scarring or pigmentation issues.

Microneedling

Microneedling is the umbrella term for a variety of different treatments that are designed to reduce the appearance of skin damage such as scarring, dark marks, sun damage and ageing. Very small needles cause tiny punctures in the skin; these small wounds encourage the body's natural healing response and renew the skin cells. As the skin repairs itself, the production of collagen and elastin is triggered to give and almost immediate plumped and rejuvenated effect. Though only very thin, the skin is made up of several layers including the dermis and subcutaneous. By penetrating the epidermis with very fine, small needles, collagen production is increased and the body heals itself. Each little wound will go through 3 stages of healing: -Inflammation -Proliferation (tissue formation) -Tissue remodelling Once the dermis is penetrated, the puncture holes close within minutes and heal relatively quickly. During the treatment, the practitioner may use the serum but this will depend on the type of microneedling conducted. When the tiny blood vessels are ruptrured, blood cells and serum is spread into the surrounding tissue. The leucocytes (white blood cells) act on the damaged tissue, removing debris and killing bacteria. This reaction produces a surge of activity that leads to the fibroblasts being "instructed" to produce more collagen and more elastin. A few days after the treatment, the epidermal cells (keratinocytes) begin reproducing and the epidermis becomes thicker. Over the following months, the skin will progressively tighten as the collagen becomes more supported.

40% Glycolic peel

Glycolic acid peels, also known as skin peels or chemical peels, are used to remove the outermost layer of the skin. The aim of the product is to create ‘controlled injury’ to the skin. This controlled injury creates a healing response from the skin which encourages collagen and elastin production, which is what makes the skin look firm and smooth. The additional benefit of having a skin peel is that it creates an exfoliating effect on the skin, which will leave the younger and fresher looking layers of skin below. As well as exfoiating the surface of the skin will will give general facial rejuvanation making the skin loo fresher and younger, the 40% peel, or a mild peel, will treat specific skin conerns. This type of peel will treat:
